BPSC announces release of CSP and EAS Suite Version 6.0.
IRVINE - Benefit Plan Systems Corporation, the leading provider of benefit plan administration software to employers and administrators today announced the release of Version 6.0, Client Service Provider and Employer Administration Suites. Both the CSP and EAS Suites include completely integrated applications for administration of COBRA, retiree or leave direct billing, consolidated group billing and HIPAA.

In addition, several new features were added and/or improved in all CSP and EAS applications. The ability to maintain beneficiary information was a feature requested by many current users. The data dictionary now includes improved descriptions and additional files and fields not previously output when printed. A .csv output option as been added.
Version 6.0 includes an updated FairCom database offering increased speed and ODBC/SQL connectivity. Benchmark testing shows an increased processing speed improvement for ODBC operations up to 400%. "Along with the ver. 8.27 database we are also making available a new client/server version known as c-tree SQL Server said Leonard Wierzba, CEO". "C-Tree SQL Server also includes improved transaction and SQL query throughput and scalability".
Version 6.0 will be shipped to all extended support customers automatically by May 15, 2006. Users without current support can get the update by paying the appropriate fee.
